I love history. I especially love all the history, the facts, legends, myths, and all the fun associated with life in the American Old West.
If you share that love, I call your attention to "Life in the Old West," a relatively new website. The site combines a look at what "real life" was like in the American West, with a nice collection of interesting topics and available online auctions of Western American Memorabilia. They have stories about gunfighters, the railroads and their impact on westward expansion, television and movie Western heroes -- and a post today about Conestoga wagons and the role they played in western expansion.
Take a look around. If you're at all interested in the Old West, you'll love the site and hang out there often.

Find a good folding bike for cheap transportation and for savings on gasoline costs. Yes, a folding bike would be my suggestion for "Useful Stuff" today -- a bicycle capable of supporting an adult in some degree of biking comfort while being light enough and portable enough to store under your desk at the office.
Every since gasoline hit $1 Million a gallon, most of us have been trying hard to find ways to save on gas, to find transportation that uses little or no gasoline. (Okay, I exaggerated about that $1 Million a gallon, but it SEEMS like that much.) Many people are buying more economical cars, hybrid cars, and/or taking public transportation. A good folding bike offers the best of all worlds, really, if your transportation needs are short-range commutes: It provides healthy exercise, it's much cheaper than a hybrid car, and you'll have virtually no parking issues.
Take a look at our online auction listings below for folding bikes. You'll find some that are "hybrid" bicycles, with electric motor assists to your pedal power. Others are simply well-made, highly portable bicycles. Check back often, as our sophisticated search software updates links daily to help you find a good folding bike as a cheap transportation alternative!

With summer upon us, who hasn't said, "Gee, I really need a shed for the backyard to hold all this stuff"?
Maybe you haven't said it, but chances are good that you've thought about buying a shed or some storage shelves to hold all the "stuff" you need to put somewhere and get organized.
Here's a small but useful website for selecting just the sheds or shelving you need to solve the problem, named fittingly enough, "Buy Sheds and Shelves." The site offers a huge selection of outdoor sheds and outdoor/indoor shelving. You'll find everything you need to store and organize all your stuff, from bicycles to garden hoses to books and magazines.
Take a good look around and buy sheds and shelves at our featured "Useful Site" for today!
